CODE OF CONDUCT / BEHAVIOUR
BDF United Lyon 2026 Code of Conduct/Behaviour:
"Respect and Etiquette"
At BDF United Lyon 2026, we prioritize creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
We ask everyone to follow these guidelines:
* Respect: Always treat others with dignity. Seek consent before engaging in dance and respect personal boundaries.
* Etiquette: Keep movements clear and considerate, ensuring your partner feels comfortable. Always make sure you are conscious, to be able to read and respond to non-verbal cues.
* Protection of Dancers: Dancers should avoid any aggressive or inappropriate behavior. Everyone’s comfort and safety is a priority.
* Zero Tolerance: Any form of harassment or disrespect will be addressed immediately to maintain a positive atmosphere for everyone.
In case something happens and you need help: Please ask someone you trust to escort you to a teacher/artist that you know and trust or to the registration desk. They will alarm one of the organizers. They will take you to a quite and safe location in the venue, listen to you and together with you find a way to address what happened. If necessary they will assist you to find help externally.
Let’s work together to make BDF United Lyon 2026 a place where everyone can enjoy dancing in a respectful and safe environment.
