WHAT IS THE MAC OFFICIAL TRAINING PROJECT/PROGRAM ?

MAC is a methodology developed by Alex de Carvalho over the course of his 29 years of experience that deconstructs Brazilian Zouk movements into key elements to understand them better and map the ways in which the dance is and can be built.

BDF is honoured to work together with the Official MAC Project. We are happy to invite you to get to know this training project by joining the MAC Project @ BDF.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE MAC PROJECT @ BDF ?

The course with consist of a "Overview of the original MAC-modules 1 to 5" in 3 days.
Thursday: 15h00 - 18h00 (3 hours)
Friday: 11h00 - 12h30 (1.5 hours)
Saturday: 11h00 - 12h30 (1.5 hours)
Access to the course requires registration at the BDF Congress, in order to have access to the venue's facilities:
You need to buy at least a BDF FULL PASS OR COMBINATION PASS.
Students previously registered at MAC have FREE ACCESS TO MAC PROJECT @ BDF and to any edition of the MAC summary in any city in the world.
The only condition imposed is to be registered at BDF (as already mentioned):

HOW TO REGISTER ?

Access to the Regular MAC Program currently costs 899 euros, with lifetime access to the 5 modules + participation in the exam.
For those who register specifically to access the BDF, we can offer two registration conditions:
OPTION 1 - MAC PROJECT @ BDF (OVERVIEW OF MAC MODULES 1 TO 5)
-Register for MAC @ BDF program using the BDF registration link
-You to buy the MAC Project @ BDF ticket for 400 euros: CLICK HERE
This will give you access to the Overview program of the official MAC Project during BDF in Lyon, without access to the official program.
On a later moment, you can choose to make an additional payment of 500 euro to have access to the entire program + 2026 parties in Paris + exam anywhere in the world.
OPTION 2 - COMPLETE MAC PROJECT (FULL PROGRAM)
-Register for full MAC PROGRAM using the BDF registration link
-Your details will be send over to the MAC Project for validation and registration in the official system
-Your will receive an message from MAC Program to pay 899 euro to complete the registration;
The person enrolls in the full course by completing the payment and will get lifetime access to the program
+ 2026 parties in Paris
+ exam anywhere in the world.

WHO CAN TAKE MAC EXAMS AT BDF ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We currently have exams in France, Taiwan, Canada and Australia.
We enlarge this opportunity to offer a second exam in Europe, at the BDF, to those WHO ARE ALREADY ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM.
These exams can take place during the week, before the event workshops so as not to disrupt the previously planned schedule.
The condition for participating in the test is to be registered for the BDF event, in order to have access to the restricted area of the event: You need to buy at least a BDF FULL PASS OR COMBINATION PASS.

WHICH KIND OF TESTS/EXAMS ARE THERE ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Practical test:
Groups of up to 4 people, divided into 2 hours each.
Theoretical test:
1 single group with all participants, with a maximum duration of 3 hours.

WILL I GET AN EXAM CERTIFICATE ?

The delivery of the approval certificates and identification cards will take place on Sunday, right before the Jack and Jill Awards.
